Grace Finley

Grace Finley is a joint degree master's candidate at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and Harris School of Public Policy ('23). She is interested in promoting the well-being of children and families through a lens that bridges often siloed intervention and policy areas. To that end, she most recently worked at the Chicago Center for Youth Violence Prevention: a research center housed at the University of Chicago that collaborates with high-burden South Side neighborhoods to address widespread community violence, especially among young people. In addition to her current role at ChildFocus, she also serves as part-time Editorial Assistant at Chapin Hall, supporting the Office of the Director of Research and the Journal of Child and Family Studies on various projects elevating the latest translational research in the field. She holds bachelor's degrees in Dance and American Studies from Connecticut College ('16).
