Meridith Byrne Paulhus

Meridith Byrne Paulhus is a print and web designer and creative project manager. She is responsible for the development, preparation, and maintenance of web sites, brands, publications, and digital communications in support of several non-profits, policy consulting organizations, private foundations, and creative agencies. She has been providing design and publishing services for the last 19 years to several small and/or local businesses, as well, including a legendary Illinois barbecue brand, several Boston-area chefs, local farms, a bakery, an electrician, and a start-up robotics firm, among many others.

Before starting her own Cambridge, MA design studio in 2005, Meridith worked for several years in the publishing industry designing for Good Housekeeping Magazine in New York City, and then for Time-Life Publishing. She left publishing to become part of the creative team at Georgetown advertising firm GMMB, Inc. In the decade she spent at GMMB in Washington, DC, Meridith relished working with incredibly talented communicators on branding and advertising for an array of policy issues, including childhood safety, child labor, adoption, environmental preservation, women’s health, nationwide seatbelt laws, national service, national health coverage, and national parks.

Meridith is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, where she earned a BA in Advertising Design. She lives with her husband Jeff and their dog just north of Boston in Essex, MA.
